STEPANAKERT. – The adversary violated the ceasefire along the line of contact between the Karabakh and Azerbaijani opposing forces more than 60 times, from late Monday night to early Tuesday morning.

During this time the Azerbaijani armed forces fired around 700 shots toward the Armenian position-holders, the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR/Artsakh) Defense Army informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Unlike previous days, however, this time the truce was breached primarily by the use of automatic weapons, machine guns, and sniper rifles.

But the NKR Defense Army vanguard units vigilantly followed the situation on the line of contact, and took actions in response solely when absolutely necessary.
