By strengthening cooperation with the NATO and the EU, it will be possible to provide a larger assistance to Ukraine, announced the NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
" NATO supports Ukraine, both political and practical, as the country continues to suffer from aggression from Russia… Fostering of cooperation between NATO and the European Union would help to provide larger support to Ukraine,” said Jens Stoltenberg in Brussels after a meeting of foreign ministers of the NATO member states, reports Interfax-Ukraine.
The head of the EU diplomacy Federica Mogerini, in her turn, said that the assistance of the EU to Ukraine is focused on economic, social reforms, and the fight against corruption.
“Keeping Ukraine as a priority is not on the agenda of Europe only but is also a priority across the Atlantic. We obviously insist on a complete implementation of the Minsk agreements… We often meet and discuss these issues, especially the issue of solving the conflict in the east of the country,” she said.
