YEREVAN. – According to official data, deflation in Armenia continued in November, and amounted to 0.6 percent.

Moreover, food prices in the country fell an average of 0.5 percent while those of non-food products—by 3.5 percent.

Consumer loans without collateral up to AMD 2,000,000

Up to December 30 consumer loans without collateral up to AMD 2,000,000 will be granted only with annual interest rate of 19-20%

But the prices of alcoholic beverage and tobacco products in Armenia went up by 0.6 percent, and those of services—by 1.1 percent.

Food prices, however, have not fallen across the board in the country; this group had exceptions, including in essential food items. As case in point, egg prices rose by 10.2 percent while sugar prices—by 14.8 percent in November.

Also, fruit prices in Armenia went up by 17.7 percent in the past month, on a yearly basis.
