The Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov called the Reuters’ cameraman an “idiot.” The incident took place on December 9 in Hamburg, where the Minister participated in the OSCE Ministerial Council meeting, reports Meduza.
Passing through the hall, Lavrov asked Reuters’ cameraman: “What do you want?” Then, he added: "idiots." The video is released by the Ukrainian channel Gromadyske.
The Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told RBC, that the Minister did not offend anyone. "He asked the operator, what he wanted. The latest did not give him an answer and continued shooting. The minister went his way and did not say anything," explained Zakharova.
