Catholicos of All Armenians, Karekin II, on Monday issued condolences to Pope of Alexandria & Patriarch of All Africa on the Holy Apostolic See of St. Mark the Evangelist of the Coptic Orthodox Church of Alexandria, Tawadros II.
Karekin II extended his commiseration in connection with the terrorism that occurred at Saint Peter and Saint Paul Coptic Orthodox Church in the Egyptian capital city of Cairo, and which claimed numerous innocent lives and injured others.
“We strongly condemn terrorist acts in Christian Churches, and call on all people of good will to take necessary measures to prevent such crimes and transgressions committed against humanity,” reads, in particular, the message of condolence by the Catholicos of All Armenians.
