YEREVAN. - The Union of National Self-Determination has requested to join the Civil Contract, Bright Armenia and Republic parties, which have formed an alliance, but hasn’t yet received a response.
Chairman of the Union of National Self-Determination, Paruyr Hayrikyan, said the aforementioned at a press-conference Saturday.
He recalled that the Union of National Self-Determination has urged all the political parties to establish a democratic union. “We also advised the Republicans to get rid of this bog. The only way is to establish a democratic union,” Hayrikyan noted,
Referring to the question of Armenian News – NEWS.am reporter as to whether the Union of National Self-Determination will take part in the upcoming parliamentary elections, Hayrapetyan said: “We have already started taking part in the parliamentary elections. We decided to wait till the end of December. After this we have another plan: if no common front is formed, we will think of setting up a union called “Democratic Armenia,” in which Armenian citizens will be involved.”
