On October 29, Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received newly appointed Israeli Ambassador to Armenia Shmuel Meirom.

The Prime Minister expressed confidence that Ambassador’s activities will contribute to expansion and deepening of bilateral cooperation, Armenian governmental press service informed NEWS.am.

The sides discussed joint program implementation prospects in economy, healthcare, tourism, education, science and culture. Tigran Sargsyan and Shmuel Meirom stressed importance of organizing business forums to establish close ties between private sectors of both states.

Speaking of work with Diaspora, Prime Minister Sargsyan pointed out Armenia will use Israel’s experience of working with Diaspora structures.
