YEREVAN. – The consumers in Armenia limited themselves to spending money solely on food, ahead of this New Year holiday season.
Director of the “Consumer Consulting Center” NGO, Karen Chilingaryan, said the abovementioned at a press conference on Tuesday.
In his words, although there was a lively purchasing of automobiles and household appliances several years ago in the lead up to the New Year’s holiday in the country, now people’s financial resources are enough to just set New Year’s festive tables.
Chilingaryan added that there this year was no major New Year advertising campaigns at home appliance stores, or car dealerships in Armenia.
