YEREVAN. - Armenian Internet traffic exchange foundation, ArmIX, is holding talks with Russian Internet companies.

Director of the foundation, Vahan Hovsepyan, told the aforementioned to Armenian News – NEWS.am.

In particular, the possibility of caching the resources of Rambler portal is discussed. “According to their data, the statistics of visits to their video resources in quite high in Armenia,” Hovsepyan noted.

The most popular Russian websites in Armenia—VKontakte, Odnoklassniki and mail.ru—are already cached by separate providers. “For the access to them to be faster, we will be able to cache them here as well if this doesn’t contradict the interests of providers, who are ArmIX members,” he added.
