There opened the first underwater of Europe in Lanzarote, Spain, reports Daily Mail. The exhibits of the Atlantico museum are people of different ages and sex: more than 300 life size sculptures installed under water in a depth of about 12 meters.

Sculptures are made of special materials and cay stay in water for hundreds of years, causing no damages to the ecosystem. It took three years to create such a museum. Atlantico was established not only with a purpose to entertain, but also to attract attention of people to the issues of environmental protection. It’s the project of the British sculptor Jason deCaires Taylor.
