YEREVAN. - There is no point in asking who to hang or imprison in the Government.

Armenian Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan said the aforementioned at a press-conference on Friday, responding to the question what caused the budget deficit in 2016.

According to him, the Government will study the reasons to understand which of them were objective—caused by unfavorable microeconomic situation or external reasons—and which were subjective—caused by deficiency in administration. “But are you most interested in who will be punished?  We will imprison and hang everyone…Do you care more about this? Let’s think substantively. The most important thing is to identify the mistakes—if there were such—and correct them,” Karapetyan noted.
