YEREVAN. - The Government of Armenia will close the loophole for corruption in medical services.

Armenian Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan said the aforementioned at a press-conference on Friday.

In his words, now that the cost of operations is partially subsidizes from the budget upon the state order, hospitals may be tempted to offer their patients to register their operation under state order for a certain “gratitude.” “It is necessary to do so as they have no such interest, for instance, the patient making use of state order must have the freedom to choose in which hospital to receive treatment,” he noted.
