YEREVAN. – Defense Minister of Armenia, Vigen Sargsyan, on Saturday received Simonian Educational Foundation CEO Marie Lou Papazian, and Foundation Board member Bekor Papazian. 

Sargsyan thanked Simonian Educational Foundation for its close cooperation with the Ministry of Defense (MOD) of Armenia, and the initiative of a new joint teaching program for the conscripts of the Armenian Armed Forces, the MOD informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The minister noted that this new program will contribute to the formation of a wider scope for the educational opportunities of Armenia’s soldiers.

The Simonian Educational Foundation representatives, in turn, expressed confidence that this program will succeed.

At the end of the talk, Vigen Sargsyan and Marie Lou Papazian signed a memorandum of cooperation on providing further education to conscripts.
