Japanese designers combined traditional Japanese arts: origami and onigiri sushi, which, as a result, turned into origami sushi or onigiri. It is a combination of rice and seaweed. Designers created plastic mats, so that everyone could wrap sushi in the form of fish, a bird, or the mount Fuji. The guests place nori leaves with rice on them and wrap them in accordance with instructions.
Onigiri mats have been developed within the framework of a design project. The authors are still collecting funds for their production, reports Kedem.
