YEREVAN. – A considerable increase in the prices of goods in Armenia was not recorded in the year past, as compared with the previous years, marketing expert Ruben Haytayan stated at a press conference on Monday.

“Solely [the prices of] nuts and dried fruits went up,” he added. “The problem is that there are different prices everywhere (…), but there were virtually no fluctuations. The market is not overseen.

“If the price of raw material rises, what fault do the businesses have?”

Haytayan added that the prices of products which Armenia imports have increased at the beginning of the current year, and that their prices do not depend on the country.
