At least eight people, including five minors, were injured as a result of shooting during a Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebration in Miami, Florida, WSVN reported.

Unknown men opened fire at Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Park on Monday evening. Five of the six hospitalized victims are listed in stable condition, according to MDPD. Another victim, described as a 20-year-old man, is currently undergoing surgery and is listed in critical condition.

Miami-Dade Police confirmed they had detained two people for questioning and recovered two weapons from the scene.
