U.S. President-elect Donald Trump will not be worse than Barack Obama leaving the White House, said Venezuela's President Nicolas Maduro.

According to Maduro, Obama has left the world plagued by terrorism, Reuters reported.

“International media have speculated about Donald Trump. We are surprised at the brutal hate campaign against Donald Trump in the whole world, in the western world. He won't be worse than Obama, that's all I dare say,” Maduro said.

In addition, Maduro added that in Latin America, Barack Obama will be remembered for three coups in Honduras, Paraguay and Brazil.
