At least 75 were injured after a fire led to the collapse of Tehran's iconic Plasco building. As a result of the accident 30 firefighters were killed, The Guardian reported.
At the same time it was noted that the death toll may rise. The exact number of people who are still trapped beneath the rubble is also unknown.
The disaster struck the Plasco building, an iconic structure in central Tehran. The fire broke out on the top floors of the building shortly after 8 a.m. Firefighters, soldiers and other emergency responders dug through the rubble, looking for survivors.
