YEREVAN. - Gagik Tsarukyan’s return to politics has not reduced the chances of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA).

Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia, Eduard Sharmazanov, who is also the spokesperson for the RPA, told the aforementioned to journalists on Thursday, referring to the question as to whether Tsarukyan’s return poses a threat to the RPA in the upcoming parliamentary elections.

“We haven’t targeted the figure you mentioned. Regardless of his plans and those of the coalition to be headed by him, we have our program and will follow our political agenda. His return to politics has neither reduced the chances of RPA nor changed the strategy,” Sharmazanov noted.
