YEREVAN. -- Twenty-five 25 years ago, on 20 January the United Kingdom the UK established diplomatic relations with Armenia.

On this occasion, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom to Armenia Judith Margaret Farnworth made a following statement:

“Today we mark the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Armenia and the United Kingdom. The United Kingdom considers Armenia a long-term and valuable partner. During the past 25 years the UK supported Armenia on its way to becoming democratic, stable and prosperous country.

The British Embassy in Yerevan looks forward to continuing to work with our Armenian partners and friends to strengthen and deepen our cooperation.”
