The new-elected President of the United States Donald Trump and his wife Melania Trump visited St. John's Episcopal Church in Washington. According to the US traditions, the President attended the liturgy in the church, not far from the White House.

Later, the couple are expected for tea in the White House with the outgoing President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle.

More than 1 million people from different states of the United States arrived to D.C. to attend the inauguration ceremony. Among them, there are both supporters and opponents of Trump. The latest received the right to hold a protest on the same day. About 270 thousand people will take part in the rally.
