Donald Trump took over the presidency of the United States. US Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts read the text, after which Trump repeated:

“I Donald J. Trump do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States," said Trump, raising his right hand and placing his left hand on the Bible.

70-year-old Trump became America's 45th President, replacing Barack Obama, who served his two terms in office.
