Unidentified persons fired grenade-launchers at the Istanbul-based office of the Turkish ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) on Friday, RIA Novosti reports, citing NTV.

According to the preliminary information, there are no casualties and wounded.

Earlier on Friday, the building of the Directorate of Security in the city was fired from anti-tank grenade launcher. Istanbul Governor Vasip Şahin informed that the shell hit the wall and nobody was wounded. Following this, a large-scale police operation was launched in the city.
