The New York Times Video Twitter account (@nytvideo) where the newspaper posts its video materials, was possibly hacked.

The hackers tweeted that Russia was going to attack the U.S. The stuff of the NYT quickly removed the publication of the hackers.

As The Hill reported, the @NYTvideo account tweeted “BREAKING: leaked statement from Vladimir Putin says: Russia will attack the United States with Missiles”.

"We deleted a series of tweets published from this account earlier today without our authorization. We are investigating the situation," NYT Video tweeted.
