YEREVAN. – The American dollar’s (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 486.33/$1 in Armenia on Monday; this is up by AMD 0.12 from the previous business day in the country, informed the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia.
The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 521.78 (up by AMD 4.16), that of one British pound was AMD 605.53 (up by AMD 8.03), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 8.19 (up by AMD 0.04).
In addition, one gram of silver, gold and platinum amounted to AMD 264.09, AMD 18,771.64 and AMD 15,057.34, respectively.
Monday’s trading totaled USD 200,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 486.5/$1, and the trading session closed likewise at AMD 486.5 /$1.
