U.S. Senate confirmed Mike Pompeo as President Donald Trump's  nominee to run the CIA. At least 30 senators voted against his nomination, while 66 voted to confirm him, Reuters reported.

He attended the U.S. Military Academy at West Point graduating it in 1986 and subsequently serving in the Regular Army as an Armor Branch cavalry officer from 1986 to 1991. Then Pompeo founded Thayer Aerospace and Private Security.
