Pictures of China's Dongfeng-41(DF-41) ballistic missile were exposed on websites in mainland China, Global Times reported.

According to preliminary data, the missile was deployed in the northeast Heilongjiang province, near the border with Russia. Military analysts believe that this is perhaps the second Dongfeng-41 strategic missile brigade and it should be deployed in northeastern China.

Global Times noted that, according to some mass media, the Chinese military intentionally revealed the Dongfeng-41 and connected it with the inauguration of U.S. President Donald Trump and may be the response to “Trump's provocative remarks on China.”

DF-41 is a nuclear solid-fuel road-mobile intercontinental ballistic missile. It may carry up to 12 nuclear warheads and hit targets that are up 14,000 kilometers away from the launch site.
