YEREVAN. - Previous Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan is leaving the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA).

He informed about the abovementioned, speaking to Aravot (Morning) newspaper.

But Abrahamyan stressed that he will remain in politics.

RPA Organizational Issues’ Committee Chairman and RPA Executive Board member Ruben Tadevosyan, however, told Armenian News-NEWS.am that the RPA has not yet received a letter of resignation from Abrahamyan.

Hovik Abrahamyan was RPA vice-chairman as well as  Executive Board and Council member.
