YEREVAN. – The Ministries of Foreign Affairs (MFAs) of Armenia and the Netherlands held political consultations Monday, in The Hague.

The sides conferred on the avenues for expanding the bilateral political agenda and economic cooperation, and regional matters and their impact on regional stability and security, the MFA of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

In addition, Deputy Foreign Minister Garen Nazarian spoke about the continuing talks regarding a new Armenia-European Union (EU) legal document, and the directions of Armenia-EU cooperation.

In addition, the interlocutors discussed the prospects for Armenia’s economic development, and the particular impact of the country’s accession to the Eurasian Economic Union.

At the request of the Dutch side, Nazarian presented the substance of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, and the ongoing developments in the respective peace process.
