YEREVAN. - President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan on Saturday congratulated his Iranian counterpart Hassan Rouhani and Supreme Leader of the Iranian Revolution Sayyed Ali Khamenei on the occasion of the anniversary of the revolution, the press-service of the Armenian President reports.
The Iranian revolution took place in 1979 and involved the overthrow of the Pahlavi dynasty under Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi.
