YEREVAN. – During his talk Wednesday with students at Yerevan State University, Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan of Armenia also reflected on the matter of political prisoners.
When a student asked whether there are political prisoners in the country, the PM responded: “To be honest, I don’t know.”
And in response to a journalist’s specifying question in this regard, Karapetyan said as follows, in particular: “The state has laws, which no one has the indulgence to violate. (…). But if we attempt to interpret these laws regularly, emotionally, we will not achieve anything good.”
