On April 23, thousands will gather in New York’s Times Square to commemorate the 102nd anniversary of Armenian Genocide, reported the Armenian Weekly.

This event will honor the 1.5 million innocent Armenians who were massacred by the Young Turk Government of the Ottoman Empire, during the 1915 Genocide.

Speakers at the commemoration will include well-known artists, politicians, academics, and humanitarians.   

The theme of this year’s event is, “Turkey is Guilty of Genocide: Denying the Undeniable is a Crime.”
