North Korea’s Foreign Ministry representative expressed his disagreement with the UN Security Council’s recent statement condemning Pyongyang’s testing a ballistic missile, reported Xinhua News Agency, the official press agency of China.

He stressed that the improving of North Korea’s nuclear-ability is a defensive measure aimed at resisting against a threat of nuclear war coming from the US and its allies, and, also, ensuring national sovereignty and creating guarantees of peace in the Korean Peninsula and throughout the region.
