The police arrested the correspondent of the German newspaper Die Welt in Turkey. As the newspaper’s headquarters report, 43-year-old Deniz Yuecel was arrested on 14 February. The Turkish police told to the lawyer of Yuecel , that he is suspected of being involvement in a terrorist organization, dispersing terrorist propaganda, and like violations.

According to Dpa agency, the charges presumably refer to the leaked mailbox of the Turkish Energy Minister Berat Albayrak, who is Erdogan's son-in-law. The name of  Yuchel is mentioned in the posts of Redhack hacker’s group.  The Redhack is listed as a terrorist organization in Turkey.

Deniz Yuecel is a citizen of Turkey and Germany. Die Welt informs, that the police searched the journalist's apartment, after which they arrested him.
