YEREVAN. – The “Survey for Seismic Protection” Agency of Armenia recorded a magnitude-2.8 earthquake in the country, on Saturday at 10:15am local time.
The epicenter of the tremor was 27 km east of Sevan town.
The hypocenter of this quake was 10 km beneath the surface.
The seismic activity measured magnitude 3 to 4, at the epicenter.
The earthquake was felt in Vahan village of Gegharkunik Province, where it measured magnitude 2 to 3.
