YEREVAN. – The Yerkrapah (Defender of the Land) Volunteer Union (YVU) of Armenia has actively run and will run in nationwide elections.

YVU Chairman, MP Manvel Grigoryan, on Saturday stated about the aforementioned at the 11th congress of the Union.

“President of the Republic of Armenia, Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, Serzh Sargsyan, is aware of the problems better than anyone,” said Grigoryan. “Dear Serzh, son of Azat, we believe and trust in you. You are our friend in battle.

“We are convinced that you spare no effort and energy to build a strong, developed in Armenia. (…). And we [i.e. the YVU] support all your initiatives. (…). We ourselves need to shape our destiny with our hands.”
