Iran was not going to produce nuclear weapons, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif stated during Munich Security Conference, an annual gathering of top diplomats and defence officials.

Zarif noted that Iran’s nuclear program was peaceful adding that they were not going to create nuclear weapons. He said that everyone said that Iran had enough capacities to make that within a year, but he declared that nuclear weapon would not strengthen their security.
