Yerevan is always ready to partake in the meetings of the foreign ministers of Russia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan, along the lines of resolution of the Karabakh conflict.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Edward Nalbandian, told the aforesaid to RIA Novosti news agency of Russia.

“There are no concrete arrangements yet regarding a talk of the FMs of Russia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan, within the framework of settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict,” said the Armenian FM. “Within the framework of the Munich Security Conference that was held several days ago, I met with the Co-Chairs of the OSCE [i.e. the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe] Minsk Group as well as with the FM of Azerbaijan.

“We [i.e. Armenia] always have said that we are ready for meetings. [But] if there are no meetings, it’s not our fault.”

In Nalbandian’s words, during his talk with the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs, it was decided to continue making efforts toward creating conditions that are indispensable for the promotion of the Karabakh peace process.

“To this end, the Co-Chairs are  going to visit the region in the coming weeks,” added Edward Nalbandian.
