About a dozen civilians were killed and another four wounded in an attack in Laghman province of Afghanistan, reports Xinhua, referring to the state administration.
Ten members of a family were killed and another four were injured, when an unknown assailant threw a hand grenade on their house. The wounded were taken to hospital. The motives of the attack are not clear. No one has claimed responsibility for the incident.
