STEPANAKERT. - President of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR/Artsakh) Bako Sahakyan on Monday received the members of French, German, Austrian, Spanish and Basque delegations, which have arrived in Artsakh for conducting observation mission during the constitutional referendum held in the country.

The delegations included parliamentarians, political figures, lawyers, as well as representatives of the civil society and journalists.

President Sahakyan attached importance to the significance of the observation mission of the foreign delegations in terms of strengthening the democratic institutions in the republic, presenting truthful information about Artsakh in different countries and developing bilateral relations.

During the meetings reference was made to the issues of the NKR state-building, foreign and domestic policy and regional processes.
