The company South Stream Transport signed a contract with Allseas Group for the construction of the second maritime sector of the Turkish Stream pipeline, reports Commersant. For the construction of the second sector that will extend more than 900 kilometers along the seabed, Allseas will use Pioneering Spirit’s construction ships.

Gazmprome will allocate 42 billion rubles in 2017 for the implementation of the Turkish Stream project. The company's Board of Directors approved to provide a loan in the amount of 310 million euros to the South Stream Transport for the project by June 30, 2020. In the meantime, Gazprom signed the first agreement on the Turkish maritime sector with the Swiss Allseas.
