YEREVAN. – Deputy chairman of Heritage party Armen Martirosyan did not welcome the decision of Zaruhi Postanjyan to leave the party.

Speaking during a media conference on Tuesday, Martirosyan said “our paths may cross again.” The decision must be respected, and they want to wish her good luck, he added.

MP Zaruhi Postanjyan announced on Monday her decision to part ways with the opposition Heritage party and accused her colleagues “of rejecting the principals, ideology and plans”.

Commenting on her message, Martirosyan said they had not abandoned their principles.

“Our paths may cross again. We live in a country having political prisoners and injustice. No one could imagine that Seyran Ohanyan, Raffi Hovannisian and Vartan Oskanian would ever form an alliance, but political struggle brings to formation of the most unexpected alliances,” he added.
