YEREVAN. – The American dollar’s (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 486.95/$1 in Armenia on Tuesday; this is up by AMD 0.14 from Monday, informed the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 513.34 (down by AMD 3.70), that of one British pound was AMD 605.08 (down by AMD 1.29), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 8.40 (unchanged).

In addition, one gram of silver, gold and platinum amounted to AMD 281.49, AMD 19,370.93 and AMD 15,687.12, respectively.

Tuesday’s trading totaled USD 200,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 487.25/$1, and the trading session closed likewise at AMD 487.25/$1.
