YEREVAN. – The President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, is preparing to leave for the Belgian capital city of Brussels on February 28, on a working visit, reported Zhoghovurd (People) newspaper.

“The sources of Zhoghovurd daily claim that the main topic of discussion in Brussels will be the new framework agreement [of Armenia] with the European Union [(EU)], [and] which is almost ready for initialing, and after the final discussion of several matters, it will be introduced also to the EU member countries.

“By the way, it is already noticeable that this time the RF [i.e. the Russian Federation] is not going to be against the initialing of the document with the EU, and for the simple reason that the document will solely be a series of good wishes, and nothing more,” wrote Zhoghovurd.
