MOSCOW. - Armenia highly appreciates the contribution of Russia and other OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs in the exclusively peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Armenian FM Edward Nalbandian said the aforementioned at a joint press-conference with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov in Moscow on Wednesday

“Along with the Co-Chairs, Armenia will continue exerting joint efforts in this direction,” he stressed.

According to Nalbandian, the Armenian and Russian FMs are confident that the threats of using force are unacceptable and harm the peaceful process.

Responding to the question on the meeting with the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs and Azerbaijani FM Elmar Mammadyarov, Nalbandian noted the unacceptability of the use of force and the threat of using force, the need for unconditional implementation of the 1994-95 ceasefire agreements, which have no time limitations, as well as those reached in Vienna and Saint Petersburg were highlighted as well.

“The Co-Chairs also underscored the need for implementing the agreements reached in Astrakhan on return of captives and bodies of the deceased,” the FM noted.
