STEPANAKERT. – The adversary continued to intensely breach the truce along the line of contact between the Karabakh and Azerbaijani opposing forces, from late Wednesday night to early Thursday morning.
During this time the Azerbaijani armed forces fired more than 1,600 shots toward the Armenian position-holders, and with a variety weapons, the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR/Artsakh) Defense Army informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
In particular, the adversary fired 10 cannon shells and 52 mortar shells, in eastern and northeastern directions of the line of contact.
But the NKR Defense Army vanguard units took preventive actions, and as a result, the adversary suffered at least one casualty, about which the Azerbaijan defense ministry informed on Wednesday.
The situation on the frontline is under the full control of the Artsakh defense army vanguards.
