The prime ministers of Armenia and Georgia have agreed to give new impetus to all the directions of cooperation.

Prime Minster of Armenia Karen Karapetyan told the aforementioned to journalists after the meeting with his Georgian counterpart Giorgi Kvirikashvili.

“We talked about a new approach to regional cooperation: I am sure we have a great potential here. We are interested in that the Georgian citizens consider Armenia as a state where they can make investments and which they can visit as a tourist. We agreed with the Georgian Premier to move forward in that direction. Moreover, our colleagues have a specific instruction to organize an“open house”for all the Georgian businessmen, who are interested in operating in the Armenian and adjacent markets. Taking advantage of the opportunity, I would like to once again thank [my counterpart for the reception] and I am honored to invite him to pay an official visit to Yerevan whenever he finds it convenient so that we can develop the new potential which is laid on the basis of our relations today. I am sure that we have very interesting opportunities,” Karapetyan noted.
