Armenian PM Karen Karapetyan, for his part, underscored the importance of the high level of the Armenian-Georgian political relations, noting that although the communications are intense at all levels, the existing potential in the sphere of economic cooperation is not yet fully used.

Reconfirming that productive talks were held with the Georgian colleagues, the Armenian PM expressed hope that the results will give a new impetus and quality to the further relations. “We have discussed a wide scope of issues of interest to the Armenian-Georgian sides. I should state that the efficient realization of the potential existing in our relations has great prospects, specifically in terms of the implementation of regional programs. The Armenian side is ready to provide platforms to the Georgian businessmen for raising the accessibility of other markets. At the same time, together with our Georgian colleagues we expect to deepen our cooperation in the sphere of tourism,”Karapetyan stressed.

Moreover, he thanked the Georgian President for the good treatment towards the Armenian community of Georgia, as well as for the preservation of historical and cultural values.
