YEREVAN. - Azerbaijan has recently not only torpedoed the negotiation process but also thrown a gauntlet at the civilized world with its illogical activity.

Spokesperson for the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), Eduard Sharmazanov, told the aforementioned to journalists after the session of the RPA Executive Body on Thursday.

In his words, the inadequate response to the constitutional referendum in Artsakh, the expansion of the black list and the declaration of international search for European Parliament deputies are illogical and ridiculous steps.

“Although nothing is surprising in a country, where there is already not khan but family governance. We won’t be surprised if one day Aliyev’s son becomes a prime minister and his daughter assumes the post of a parliament speaker. One shouldn’t get surprised at anything occurring in that country. I am surprised that you are surprised,” Sharamzanov said.

Earlier, Azerbaijani media had reported, citing the Prosecutor General’s Office of Azerbaijan, that, purportedly, the aforementioned three MEPs were wanted—through Interpol—for visiting Nagorno-Karabakh to conduct an observation mission during Monday’s constitutional referendum there.

But head of the Armenia Police Media and Public Relations Department, Ashot Aharonyan, told Armenian News-NEWS.am that these MEPs are not on the Interpol wanted persons’ list.
