YEREVAN. – Ministry of Defense (MOD) of Armenia stated that the Azerbaijani side’s latest communiqué regarding “sabotage” is  absolute disinformation.

“It’s ridiculous to invent diversions ever day and ‘courageously’ report about ‘countermeasures,’” said Artsrun Hovhannisyan, spokesperson of the minister of defense Armenia, commenting—at the request of Armenian News-NEWS.am—on respective Azerbaijani media reports.

“If we deviate from the a priori  absurd content of similar reports, the [Azerbaijan defense] minister’s demeanor can be considered bizarre, at the least,” noted Hovhannisyan. “To draw the ghost ‘saboteurs’ back, he wished to act in the role of a [military] company commander, to which, apparently, he is more accustomed than the ministerial post.”
